Annie Atkins
Atkins is an Irish/Welsh graphic designer who specialises in creating paper props for film and television. She predominantly works in period filmmaking creating newspapers, treasure maps and other paper work that the set get dressed with. Her typographic work brings the films and tv shows she works on to life. Her first job for the screen was The Tudors where she designed scrolls for King Henry VIII to read and stained-glass windows. Her hand lettering is absolutely stunning and something to be admired. Her work is definitely something to keep and eye out for next time you’re at the cinema.
Alice Savoie
Alice Savoie is an independent type designer from Lyon, France. She has created a number of custom typefaces and collaborated with many type foundries. She has created type faces such as Romain 20, Faune, Capucine and Times Modern. Her typefaces have won many awards, and she now teaches typeface design at ANRT Nancy in France. Next time you are choosing a typeface look out for Alice’s as she is known for creating typefaces with a good size family which can cope with multiple languages and subjects.
Veronika Burian
Veronika Burian is a type designer from Czech Republic; she is currently running the world-renowned international foundry TypeTogether. Founding member of Alphabettes she gives lectures, workshops and conferences at universities worldwide. TypeTogether’s catalogue of typefaces is filled with expressive contemporary typefaces for both digital and analogue. Her typefaces have been recognised and won awards from different international competitions such as ISTD.

Alex Valentia is a visual artist and designer who is currently based in Milan but has also worked in London and Norway. He spends his time between illustration, graphic design, typography and short form videos. His work with apple, vogue, the New York Times and YouTube explores combining 3D art with photography. He explores real life and fantasy through creative expression creating a blend between physical and digital.

Alexis Persani is a graphic designer, 3D typographer and visual artist who brings everyday life into his typography using digital art and manipulation. From Paris, France Alexis combines calligraphy with photography manipulation to push the boundaries of contemporary art. His works is detailed, unique and creates curiosity for the world around us.
